Our well-trained nurses, certified nursing aides, chaplains, counselors, and volunteers work together to help ease symptoms, manage pain, and assist with everyday activities. Velox Medical Center also offers bereavement support for families, and hospice services are available in your home, in a relative’s home, or at an assisted living facility, so you or a loved one can remain in a comfortable and familiar environment.
We offer support for the whole family
Hospice care encompasses more than merely end-of-life support. It assists individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families in maximizing their time together. Our approach includes a tailored care plan that addresses the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of patients and their loved ones during this difficult period.
Hospice Eligibility Criteria
Neurological Disorders
End-of-life care for conditions including dementia, Parkinson’s, ALS, MS, or other progressive disorders.
Oncological Diseases
When curative treatment for cancer is no longer effective and the focus shifts to comfort-based care.
Cardiovascular Diseases
End-of-life care for CHF, stroke, or other cardiac conditions requiring intensive symptom management.
Pulmonary Disease
Hospice for severe COPD, pulmonary fibrosis or respiratory failure where quality of life is deeply impacted.
Renal Disease
End-of-life care for conditions including dementia, Parkinson’s, ALS, MS, or other progressive disorders.
Hepatic Disease
Advanced hepatic failure or end stage liver disease where symptom relief and comfort are the central focus
